but also, I hope you know it’s okay if you are feeling overwhelmed all the time. Humans aren’t meant to live this way, so do what you can, and give yourself LOTS of grace 🤍 And if something has to change for your health and wellbeing then do it.

Me I’ve had to cap how many social media management clients I have since it takes up my every morning and work with more content creation clients where I can structure my editing time and leave the posting to them.

You gotta keep adapting to stay well 🤍

As you can probably tell from my Instagram, I don’t post consistently (although getting back at it this coming year).

I had to take a step back because really, I had enough clients and my mental health needed a lot of downtime due to some family stress the past 2 years.

So I get the struggle…
➖the fluctuating rules of posting
➖the “influencer message” pressures
➖the need for socials to bring you clients
➖the who-has-the-bloody-time?!
➖the i’m-not-in-the-mood
➖the I-don’t-Iike-how-I-look
➖the I hate social media

All valid!! What a strange world we live in, that we have to go online and make strange little videos to prove ourselves in the business world…

Sometimes it just has to suck… to be uncomfortable enough, before the inspiration that makes sharing of yourself in this way, a highlight in the day again!

Living up to the false standard on social media to have a “fail proof ROI plan that works for everyone” as a content creator and social media manager.

Social media has got to be the most difficult place to define return on investment.

1. The rules are always changing as what does well and what doesn’t (daily, weekly and seasonally)

2. What people consider their ROI is also different (some want direct money to marketing, some want to build deeper connections with their clients, some want to improve their ability to be real and share who they are online, some strive to build communities) — these require different strategies.

3. It takes awhile to explore what would do well for you and your audience, which takes months of trying different and new approaches and adapting.

My background is not in marketing, but it is in PEOPLE.
I’ve been a massage therapist for 23 years. That’s 23 years of listening to intimate and vulnerable stories, asking questions and learning about every walk of life and industry from managers, employees and CEOs. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and holding space while they face life challenges and grow as individuals.

I also have a passion for photography, videography and social media. I never stop learning and really enjoy helping people build their success and grow as people.

And with all that, I am also a single mom and run two businesses successfully. I understand there’s only so many hours in the day to build your business let alone adding social media marketing.

And that’s why I am here to help.

If you want a cookie cutter promise from someone on here. That’s great! Go for it. I’m probably not the person to work with.

Leaving today for a month long solo backpacking / walking trek I planned in Scotland, Wales and Ireland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪

The Great Glen Way 125km 6 days Scotland
Snowdonia Way 160km 8 days Wales
20km day hike along the Cliffs of Moher - Ireland
…and exploring Edinburgh and Dublin!

This trip is a few years in the making, a real game changer in my life. The amount of work to prepare my life for a month away, including making sure all my clients content is pre-scheduled a month in advance! Phew talk about overtime.

👀 Here’s how it looks:

First step: We have a phone call or zoom to chat about your business, what you are looking for and your challenges.

I share the different ways we can work together: ⭐️ social media management & content creation or ⭐️ just content creation.

Step 2: I’ll send an email with the packages and you will confirm what you want and how many videos & static posts you want.

Step 3: We set up a call for me to ask a bunch of questions about your goals and business and you, so I can start getting to know you and your vibe.

Step 4: I create the list of your ideas for the month from my research about your business, audience and recent trends.

Step 5: We get together once a month to film everything in 2 hours. I keep it relaxed, we find your level of comfort and we have some fun (even if you are nervous which is totally normal!)

Step 6: I edit the content and either send it all to a google folder if I’m just content creating for you or I prepare your content to post along with captions through the weeks with added engagement and networking (socials management).

Okay so no I don’t walk around thinking about ev

Okay so no I don’t walk around thinking about everyone else’s feelings… at least not anymore.

But as a content creator I find it a real asset to be able to feel the emotions of others.

It means:

➖ I can put myself in your shoes which helps me choose your ideas for filming (I get a pretty good sense of if it isn’t for you, or if it’ll be a challenge I’m willing to try with you)

➖I often know you are stressed before you tell me. This helps me prepare myself to support you, or give grace if you don’t want to share.

➖ I’ve learned how to set boundaries to take care of myself. So you never have to worry, I will always be upfront and clear, so you can be too.

➖ I find it makes me a great social marketer and support for those getting comfortable being filmed because it is in the end, an emotional process, and I’ll be right there for it 🤍

and also… this is one of my brands of weird, so us weirdos need to stick together ✌️😎

Any business owner trying to make content for Social Media needs to know these tips ⇣⇣⇣

After a few years of working with clients this is the most stressful… ((writing captions))

Here are a few ways to help:

🤍 Block off 1 hour a month to write the captions for your chosen ideas

🤍 RECYCLE YOUR CAPTIONS (click edit then copy your past captions) repetition is important, don’t work harder then you have to, to say the same thing.

🤍 Keep captions short, give them main points, no major detail. They can reach out to find out more!

🤍 ChatGPT can help, BUT make sure you are putting your personal stories and language, don’t just copy paste from chatgpt, people recognize it and won’t read it.

🤍 Be personal, even if it’s educational, make it a conversation style with lots of spaced out sentences.
Use emojis to highlight the points.

I know everyone wants to believe no one reads the captions, but that depends on what you have to say and HOW you are saying it. It also matters who your audience is and what they are looking for on your account.

Extra tip:

🤍 Ask your audience questions and start conversations in your comments, be curious about your people!
